You can’t claim to care about justice and leave Indigenous people out of the conversation. You can’t acknowledge stolen land and ignore the communities still fighting to protect it.

Writing 107 Days felt like living the campaign in reverse — rewinding each moment and experiencing it all over again.

I wrote The Double Tax: How Women of Color are Overcharged and Underpaid because I wanted to make clear to anyone willing to the listen that the individual costs we face as women of color today become societal costs for everyone else tomorrow.
