Interview: An Unprecedented Number of Women of Color on the November Ballot, Will We See Milestones


The November mid-term election is promising to be one where many milestones are achieved for women and women of color candidates. Minorities, first-time candidates and women have already broke records in the June primaries and women of color have won more nominations for U.S. House than in any other year. So what explains this phenomenon and what are the expected implications. KPFA’s Mira Nabulsi filed this report and spoke with The BGG founder A'shanti F.
