The Brown Girl's Guide to Politics Podcast is all about amplifying the voices of women who are too often forgotten in media coverage. In this season finale, host A’shanti Gholar speaks with Virginia Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy about her career at the Virginia Military Institute, her work on Virginia’s passage of the Equal Rights Amendment, and her historic campaign to be both the first woman governor of Virginia and the first Black woman governor in the country.
